About

X-ing Design is an 100% Indigenous owned and operated graphic design and studio, located on Treaty 4 land and within the traditional territory of the Metis, in the area called oskana kâ-asastêki ᐅᐢᑲᓇ ᑳ ᐊᓴᐢᑌᑭ, by the Cree peoples - later renamed Regina, in the province of Saskatchewan. We work with both Indigenous and non Indigenous businesses, communities, associations, educators, non profits and all levels of government.

We foster partnerships with other Indigenous graphic designers across the country, in order to provide our clients with culturally appropriate designs.

It is our mission to practice visual sovereignty, in all our design decisions. This core value is a deeply ingrained principle that guide all of X-ing Design’s actions; it serves as our cultural cornerstone. Our vision is to leave behind stereotypical representation, and flee from overused images and tropes. We are constantly working to decolonize our processes and aim to work “in a good way” that respects the culture and traditions of our clients.
